What Is C.A.S.T.?
Clay Auditorium Student Technicians are advanced students in technical theatre. They are charged with leading their respective stations of the theatre when community events take place. C.A.S.T. lead their stations when the director is in-able to do so. This team of students are comprised of six thespians.
Emma Russell
Emma Russell, a senior at Lee County High School, has passionately immersed herself in theatre since freshman year. As the dedicated Stage Manager of the school’s acclaimed C.A.S.T. (Clay Auditorium Student Technicians) program, she hopes to help students hear more about the program and gain in interest in the tech side of theatre. Emma’s three‑year commitment to the technical side of theatre showcases both her leadership and her unwavering enthusiasm behind the wings.
Bennett Nelson
Bennett Nelson, a senior of Lee County High School, he has shown unwavering commitment to the theatre program, through serving as TAG President to stage managing community shows. He plans to pursue a career in the maritime navigation post high school. Bennett looks forward to making the most of his final year in theatre and leaving a lasting impact on the program.
Maka Maponga
An aspiring physicist in her senior year, Makaita has a passion for learning new things - particularly in the world of science. When she isn't exploring topics in physics, she can be found watching movies. Her favorite genres are thriller, science fiction, fantasy and comedy.

Kyler Weekley
Kyler is very excited for his senior year in high school. When he is not at the theater Kyler is either spending time with his family and friends, or watching scary movies. He wants to be In the law field when he grows up. He loves theatre his favorite show is into the woods or little shop of horrors. He is very excited to see what the future holds.
Maddie Short
Maddie is a 3rd year technical theatre student with experience in set design, backstage work, sound, and lighting. She has worked on productions both here at school as well as in the community. After graduation, Maddie plans to attend Auburn University, where she hopes to continue her involvement in tech theatre as a hobby while pursuing other academic interests.
